Dr. Shamus é Fisioterapeuta pela Florida International University, Mestre em Trauma Biomecânico pela Lynn University/Universitya PhD em Liderança Educacional pela Lynn University e Doutor em Fisioterapia pela Sage University.
Dr. Shamus tem participado de inúmeros congressos e cursos nos EUA e diversos países, assim como é autor de diversos livros, capítulos e artigos em periódicos. Participará pela 3a. vez do Congresso Internacional da SBF e tem trazido grandes contribuições para a discussão de temas relacionados à prática clínica fisioterapêutica.
